To all,  thanks for advice and tips.  A couple were a bit off the mark.  I
wanted SITTING not standing headroom.  I do want to stay in the trailer
sailor class and consider the R22 to be about the largest (heaviest) boat of
interest, I just wanted a higher roof.    John

Dick,  if you are a Flicka fan you might enjoy reading Jobst Vandry's page
sometime.  He started looking for a trailerable cruiser with the ultimate
desire for a Flicka.  I've found his documentation of THE SEARCH very useful
in my own search and his comments entertaining as well.  He bought a COM-PAC
19 as a trailerable and later upgraded to a Flicka.  Unfortunately, he lost
the Flicka in a hurricane before he had time for much sailing.

Michael, Dana 24 is also a nice boat but too heavy for my notion of a
