Rik, the smallest unit I have found is the Samsung
MW620WA.  The specs say 850 watts power input which
would put it in the ballpark of the eu1000's ability. 
I looked for one at WalMart but the only source I've
located so far in online for about $55.  You've
definately convinced me to field test before buying. 
The other small units I have access to are larger than
I remembered.  Let me know what you find.  Brad.
