Rik, took the coffee pot from the Braun, filled it to
8 cups of water.  It took less than 5 minutes to
coffee temp level, 8 minutes to incipient boil (tested
at 180 degrees with a meat thermometer).  No problem
with the gen.  The cabinet would take up about 825
cubic inches of space less what you gain back by
storing inside the cooking area for a total loss of
storage space of less than 500 cubic inches, smaller
than a shoe box.  I have to fly the rest of the week
to pay for all this so the next step in the New
Frontier is all yours. Brad
