Rik, the end that has the knot on it, does it end under the whipping, and
the loop ends are the actual sheet ends.

Neat arrangement.

But back to my initial question.  I currently have two separate sheets tied
at the clew.  That knot is the one that is too large.  It catches on most
tacks unless I have enough air to move through quickly.  I will be going to
one long sheet looped in the middle.
