[Rhodes22-list] Yamaha Outboard Motor Purchase

	Hi Dan and Kathy,
	I bought "Closing Time" in April this year, a recycle '93.  GB
installed the remote on the motor by removing the normal tiller from the
handle and extending the cables and shut off wire with the 6' kit from
Yamaha (advice from MJM-thanks!)  I just screwed it to the tiller (after
using bungie cord for a month) after getting back to the Bay.  GB (Mark, I
think) also installed the linkage kit at the same time.  If you would like
pictures or more info, feel free to call if the email process gets too

Gil, the remote kit was this furnished by general boats or Yamaha motor 
dealer? Who did the installation? Lastly did  the motor come with a tiller 
handle? As you can see we dont know alot about the set up! Lookinf forward
to
