[Rhodes22-list] Yamaha Outboard Motor Purchase

I just use the RED rope from the GB lift, no sweat, no problems. I
haven't tried lubricating the lift yet, still works fine. It's also secured
with the Master Lock bar device and covered with a canvas cover. I bought
the motor at a local Yamaha dealer, Clews and Strawbridge in Frazer for
about $2400, including the remote extension kit (~$100). I found the second
tank on the 'net for about $35, the dealer wanted $75. Not sure if the
ubiquitous Tempo tanks would fit, so searched for the yammer. Still have
yet to use half a tank, but it might come in handy some day...

Gil, great info for us novices last question for today do you have power
tilt
on this motor or simply use the outboard motor lift provided by General
boats. Thanks Dan and Kathy in Brigantine
