Tom,
If you don't hear from anyone else let me know. A guy a couple of slips =
up from us just installed a new CDI furler on his O'Day 222. We've got a =
regatta coming up this Sunday and, if he's there, I'll ask him to show =
me so I can pass it along to you.
I tightened the genoa's halyard last weekend and managed to lift the =
spool free from the housing - once I got the furling line back on the =
spool, the whole works dropped right back down and seems to be operating =
just fine. I suspect they're just talking about making sure the thrust =
washer is centered and flat on the main bearing.
