For a $25 room, each man paid $8.33 except for the third guy who paid $8.34.
When they each got $1 back, that made it $9.33 + $9.33 + $9.34 = $28. The
bellboy's $2 makes $30.

And, if you're not allowed to cut the apples (even if you are, actually)
there's no correct answer for the apple riddle.
