[Rhodes22-list] bilge pump

Rummy,

I have the same problem with leaves & other debris clogging the seat drains
on Dynamic Equilibrium. If those seat drains aren't kept clear, I get
rainwater into the lazarette compartment.

I also have an automatic pump down in the bilge. I don't know where the
water comes from or how it gets in. But, when we sail in rough conditions,
there is frequently 1 - 3" of water down in the bilge. A small centrifugal
bilge pump & a float switch handles it nicely.
