[Rhodes22-list] Attachment question

I think this is just another miserable feature of Microsoft Outlook,
at least that's what I receive as well. I open the attachment (usually
called ATT123456.TXT -ATT with 6 incrementing digits), copy the line with
the url and paste it into IE. (Control-O is faster).

Michael (ro whom ever)

How come the attachments always come to me as txt files.

For example, the file that MJM sent came to me with the name, eatsleep.jpeg
Type: image/jpeg Size: 45937 bytes Desc: not available
Url:
http://www.rhodes22.org/pipermail/rhodes22-list/attch/200304/04/eatsleep.jpe
When I open it, it naturally, is opened in notepad with the following text:

Name: eatsleep.jpeg Type: image/jpeg Size: 45937 bytes Desc: not available
Url:
http://www.rhodes22.org/pipermail/rhodes22-list/attch/200304/04/eatsleep.jpe
. Except not as a link.

Do I need to be requesting my mail from the list server in a different
format?

Thanks.
