[Rhodes22-list] Cirque de Soleil is NOT French

Need to step in here.

Cirque de Soleil is NOT French. It is French Canadian - nothing to do with
France. The French hate the French Canadians nearly as much as they hate
the English who are only hated slightly less than us. Germans come after
the Brits before the French Canadians. The French hate everyone who isn't
French -- its just a matter of degree.

Plus they hate eachother. Parisians hate the provincial "low life", etc.
The Alsatians (near the border of Germany) are probably at the bottom of the
pile among the French until the foreigners list starts.

The only French I ran into while living in France for 2 years that didn't
disdain English-speaking people were the Normans who greatly appreciate the
Norman invasion that liberated them (and the rest of France) in WWII.
However when we drove into the area in a VW, they turned their backs after
scowling at us. Understandable given the brutality of the retreating
Germans.

The mediterraneans weren't too bad -- at least to your face.

I think all of France suffers from the Napoleon Syndrome -- similar to any
other group of cowards. I experienced them as extremely arrogant and nasty.
Both to me and to eachother.

French Canadians are Canadians, not French.

Sorry for the rant, but their arrogance and ignorance nearly cost me my
life.
