[Rhodes22-list] Contraption?

Slim,

I used this device on my boat for years. It's a piece of cake, and better than motorized devices if you are working on a level paved surface with a single axle trailer. (Because you can swivel the device under the ball and get into tighter spaces with far more control.)

Move stuff around on your boat and trailer to reduce the tongue weight to around 25lbs for these maneuvers. You can test the system using only the wheeled jack already on most of our trailers. The device Rob suggests provides more leverage.

Slim,
They have this trailer dolly in West Marine.

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=118256&catalogId=10001&classNum=759&subdeptNum=642&storeNum=17

The heavy duty might be tight, but maybe someone makes a heftier one. - Rob
