[Rhodes22-list] McCotters and trailers

Hello Bob Dilk,

Remember last Memorial Day? Are you the guy from up north with the Rhodes
in the parking lot at McCotters? Tana and I launched "Kate", our Starwind
19, at the nearby ramp, while you were working on the Rhodes. If so, then
it's nice to make the connection with you Bob.

By the way, I would like to take this opportunity to announce to everyone
that I am now the "contract owner" of Captain Richard Hardt's 1984 R22,
which I am very happy to say is confirmed built by Stan. Thanks Rich, for
being so patient and downright nice.

Now just have to figure out the trailer part.

Choice 1 - Dual axle Performance Trailer with torsion axles, surge
brakes, galvanized

Choice 2- Single axle Triad, surge brakes, galvanized

They're about the same price.

Ok folks, let's hear it. I am asking for your opinions once more, and trust
you will not hold back.

- Pete Thorn

You guys are great. Thanks for all the comments and varied opinions. Isn't
freedom of speech wonderful!

It turns out, I misread a fuzzy hull number on a photograph..

Is there anyone within 2 hours of Raleigh/Durham with a Rhodes 22 on dry
land who would allow me to visit and measure it for a trailer?
