Rik,

It's funny that Julie and I were just making our fall vacation plans
yesterday and have tentatively included at least part of the Kentucky Lake
get together in them. Now if we can only manage to petition the
powers-that-be to stretch that Midwestern boundary a bit eastward to include
our part of southwest Virginia, we'll be able to attend. I guess it's time
to start lobbying for some favorable gerrymandering....

Hello all you midwestern Rhodies,

It's just about the end of summer again already and time to start thinking
about the annual Kentucky Lake get together at the end of Sept. Oh yeah, I
know I'm not an official Rhodie anymore, just an alumnus, but I'm going to
be there just the same. Remember I've got that big old shiny trophy from
last years regatta that some lucky sailor is going to take home with them
this year. Not only that, but it's been just a pretty darn good time for
everyone that's been involved the last couple of years. Lots of good food
and good company in a very nice setting. Just the thing to unwind a little
after a hectic summer.

So how about it? Who's all up for it. C'mon now, you know you're all
looking for a good excuse to go somewhere and this excuse might be about as
good as it gets.
