[Rhodes22-list] Water Tank

Julie,
Very interesting question because I have the same thing on my '95 and people 
were surprised when I told them that I have a rubbermaid container for a 
water tank!  Unbelievable.  Mine is worse than yours because mine actually 
spills over if I fill it too much and the boat heels.  I checked and mine is 
screwed together with (what seems like) hundreds of little screws, but there 
is no gasket and there is no sealant of any kind.  Poor set-up in my 
opinion, and I was considering removing the top (which is extremely 
difficult because you can only reach about half the screws) and then using 
silicone sealant around it before resealing.  Any other ideas would be 
great, and also any way to monitor (or even just look at) the water level in 
the tank?
