[Rhodes22-list] Report on Lake Hartwell for Claude

Claude,
I didn't go to 'B' dock and examine in detail, however, my guest
yesterday (Sunday), pointed to a Rhodes22 that looked like yours docked
across from me and there was none way up the dock, so I just thought it
was your boat.
You should have come sailing yesterday. After the fact the
temperature was reported at 70 degrees. At noon there were gentle
breezes, but by 4 there were small white caps out there.
I am getting the impression that Bob Keller and me are the only
Rhodes22's sailing anymore. And I haven't been up his end of the lake
since late last summer. But it is staying light longer. And the lake
is almost at full pond! That big island off the main channel is now
just a mud shoal. You ought to see how all the islands have shrunk!
Channels were there were shoals.
Jay, bring your boat south for some nice sailing. Too bad Stan
didn't believe me about this area. With the lakes up there is a lot of
interest in sailing. Jane is even talking about getting some cheap
sailboats to rent at Big Water. After two years of depressing news,
people around here are just feed up with the gloom, and are looking to
get in the sunshine on the lakes.
	                             Ed K

Excuse me!! What do you mean, "different slip?" I haven't been to the
lake
in 3-4 months, but the marina didn't say anything to me about moving my
boat. What's up?

Claude
