One of my favorite radical liberals, Ben Franklin, was largely credited for
convincing France to side with us against the bloody Brits.  We wouldn't
have won without them.  That is to say nothing of my favorite table wine,
Cotes du Rhone.  I say VIVA LA FRANCE!

I'm going there this summer and I'm sure there'll be plenty of diplomatic
work still to be done.  :-)
