[Rhodes22-list] So what is the list option about sending troops toLiberia?

This is when we will miss Brad! He always was able to stir the pot....

I was against attacking Iraq from the start and I haven't seen anything to 
change my mind. Recent news confirms my view that our intelligence was bad 
or distorted. I am not sure if this was done on purpose or just through 
typical ineptness. What a mess we are in now.

I do think we need to view Liberia as an independent situation with its own 
set of criteria for support. Unfortunately we have our hands full in Iraq, 
Afghanistan, Korea, all while trying to broker a deal in Israel. It is a 
shame the UN is worthless.

If the current leader (Taylor?) does leave and their leaders ask for US 
assistance we should help them in some manner. I am not certain our role 
should be as “peacekeepers”.
