Slim,
I wouldn't feel so bad about all the gas they burn if they would just quiet
the damn things down. They run with open headers and you can hear them
coming from five miles away. I asked the guy about the captain's choice
lever which would run the exhaust down into the water and make the boat
quieter.....his reply is that it would rob him of to much horsepower. Let's
see, he's got around 1000 hp, how much would be to much to lose? His claim
was that it would rob him of 300 hp....I doubt it.
