Mark and Saroj,

    I had the old style rudder head made from all plywood.  
I bought a half sheet of King starboard for about $75.00 and fabricated
a duplicate of the new style rudderheads.  It came out beautifully.  
The only trouble now is trying to find pintles to span the 2 1/2" assembly.
