[Rhodes22-list] Furler

Hi all,

I found after removing my tarp from the winter storage and trailering my 2000 Rhodes home that the furler had snapped from the mast holder.  I'm not sure why this happened; I have thought of filing down the damaned hole on the furler so that it won't snag the furling line.  Will this work or should I purchase a new furler?  Has anyone else had this experience?  Thanks for your advice.
