Roger, Sounds like a great experience for the scouts ... to remember. Most of the cold weather camping and hiking I did in scouts (long time ago!) seems to be more fun in retrospect. That cold snow you were fighting turned to cold rain by the time it got to Detroit. Would have much preferred the snow. Stay warm, Jim
