Brad,

Elton's concerts were sponsored by his immobile radio stations so he
could not fly away - everyone was stoned anyway so accounting was not a
problem - but they were fun. Sat next to Billy King (not related to
billy boy for those too young to know) at one show (much prettier than
her media shots) - took pictures from the floor for Chicago (think they
used one in a promotion or album) but even the boats managed to let me
mingle - at a back stage party after a met opera, Joan Southerland asked
"what is a nice boy like you doing selling boas?" and I had to answer,
"because I can't sing Joan." but I lied. I sang once in the 6,000 seat
Purdue Music Hall - Luckily for Paul, he had not arrived there yet.
Brad, if you start reminiscing like that, you are going to get as old as
I am.
