	I can see it now, Knoxville papers headline:
Picture of guy hanging on mast halfway up in 50 mph winds, trying to
remove battens so he reduce sail as sailboat goes off top of TVA dam....

Ed,

I was hoping to talk my wife into making this stuff but you never know.

I already have some ideas for a new IMF with battens. Super Top Secret
and 
all but it involves a small ladder on the cabin top and removable full 
batten. :-)
