[Rhodes22-list] Seattle or Bust

Rik: Understand the sweating bit. I was on the fellows Dana right after he
got it. I was immediately lost. I wanted to take it out so bad I couldn't
stand it. When he had to sell it I was his first call. Broke out in a cold
sweat
but as it was only 18 months old, it was out of my price range even if I had
been in the market. I must say tho that they are well found boats. He made
the Bahamas a couple of times with his son and loved it. He reported that
he got stuck in a stink in the Gulfstream with at least 8 footers and the
boat handled extremely well.

We think about a bigger boat now and then but we have so much fun in our
local waters with the R22 that were not sure about moving up. We
"bareboated" in the Caribbean and Leewards for the last nine years and
content ourselves with a two week stint on a larger sailboat.

Good luck again.
