I don't mean to sound like a smart ass or maybe I am missing something, but
why not just fix the leaks? Instead of creating something else to store.

hope i didnt open a bag of worms for you but i really think that cover is a 
great idea...it covers every place i have rain leaks and i imagine helps to 
keep those hard to clean grooves cleaner than without it...i keep my boat in
all 
year...you know that harbor water...it never freezes...so if you ever want
to 
go for a january sail..let me know...i hope we'll have another chesapeake 
rhodies mid winter brunch..so perhaps ill see you there...if not before at
the 
wild duck
