It's the saltiest thing one could hope to find. Nimble boats are built
"like a brick shit house" I checked out the Nimble 24 at my marina on
Sunday. Much of the hardware would be appropriate to a 32 foot offshore
boat.

The Vagabond is cored and vacuum molded. This should give an outstanding
hull. If you read the construction specs it's obvious that a
Hunter/McGregor this is not...!

The Nimble 24 at my marina can only be described as a no nonsense boat. As
I remarked I was quite astonished at the oversizing of the deck hardware and
the quality of the ports etc. The degree of finish? If you have seen any
of the Marshall cats you would know what I prefer here. I for one do not
care to live inside a piece of furniture or battle with blackening teak.
The Marshall boats however are grossly overpriced. I looked at some of them
before buying the Rhodes and could not find it in myself to buy one new or
used.

If I was to get a Vagabond I would take the low end (plain) interior.
Install an auto-pilot, light it with kerosene, fit extra fuel tankage, good
anchoring gear and go!
