[Rhodes22-list] Isabel - impact on Williamsburg, VA

Thanks, Wally. Hope your Mom-in-law doesn't have TOO much of a mess.
Flooding is bad. Compared to many we were lucky. Just very hard on my
80-year-old mom. Between losing her sight, her independence, her hearing,
this is just the last straw. She creates a beautiful home and yard which is
a big mess right now. She is very fragile emotionally at the moment.

Sorry to hear about the damage but it sounds like your family was pretty
lucky. My wife flew out to Norfolk this week to help her Mom out in Hampton
VA. She has a canal in her back yard that feeds out to Hampton Roads. She
had some slight flood damage and numerous trees down as well. Her power was
back on Wednesday.

i was on the SC Coast when Hugo came through. What a mess!

Good luck with the clean up.

Wally
