[Rhodes22-list] Through-hulls leaking from the trailer?

Bob,
I was there when they put the boat on the trailer. Did not talk
to them about which thru hull was leaking. I would say that both of
those guys are competent and knowledgeable. Get them to fix both thru
hulls.
Nevertheless, ask what sealant they are going to use. Again,
those two guys seem to be quite good, so their fix should work. After
listening to discussions on sealants and caulking over the last few
years, I would not use 5200. Since it is possible that they will have to
be reseated in the future, use a sealant that can be replaced easily. I
have come to like 'Boat Life'. However, there may be better
alternatives.
	Ed K

Bob
Fibreglass does flexs. All thur hull do leak
evenutally. Probably all that is wrong is that the
chalking went bad. I guess it could be that the boat
flexed just right in order to break the chalking
seals. Either way, not a big deal. Just rebed them.
