Chris,

Thanks for the idea and the methods.  After last
month's hotel experience your suggested experiment may
be a bit to risky for me to take on personally.  I
think I'll just pump out the holding tank and accept
that pee freezes.

 Experience from my corporate pilot days taught me the
optimal cooking time for a turd is about five days at
90 degrees.  We had a customer use the porti-potty in
a Citation jet one time and didn't tell us.  Another
customer (female) tried to use it about a week later
and we knew as soon as she lifted the lid what the
problem was.  Oxygen in the cockpit is a good thing!
