Bill,

No worries here.

My boat is an 84 and has been in the water for three seasons. I was going to 
do bottom job this year but it looked clean. My CB goes up and down with no 
fuss.

Barnacles can be an issue with swing keels and CB slots. Not an uncommon 
problem.

Did you happen to get out Saturday?
