Hello, 
We have over 9 inches of snow this morning. 
The freeway, I-24, is closed because too many cars are 
abandoned, which prevents snowplowing!
Was fierce yesterday as I maneuvered the hills and curves 
here in the lake area to get to work. As usual in the 
mid-south, we got rain Tues night and 0400-0600 Wed morning
before snow, and well, you know what THAT does!
Because the schools are not in session, this county is not 
aggressively plowing. Sure puts a strain on hospitals and 
nursing homes! Nice to be older. I do not even feel guilty 
about my lack of attempts to get to work. I did those 24 hour 
marathons in the ICUs and the walk to work in tall snow boots 
over the viaduct to the county trauma center many times in the past.
I made bread dough last night...now to scent my house with the oven!
