	That means the trailer has to have higher hull supports, usually
in the form of rollers.  It means that the boat will sit about 3 feet
higher on a trailer.  Due to the Eagles beam, you would have to use
permits anyway.  Permits while a nuisance, with an appropriate vehicle
and vigorous assistant (aka Will) you could tow that boat.  Yes, you
could still take it from the Chesapeake to Hilton Head (but the
alternative of sailing it down might be more fun).

	Hum?  Sail from the Chesapeake and stop in Edenton.  There is a
dock down the street from Stan.  Motor down the ICW to Beaufort, NC then
head out to sea.  Avoid dealing with Cape Hatteras. Hum. Sounds like
fun.

in 1998 the eagle's were not made with a retractable keel. The permanant
