[Rhodes22-list] Repainting mast and boom

Gary, 
We had a painted mast and boom on the S2 on which I race.
We lost the mast in a very competitive race this fall and 
the owner is truly bummed about the fact that he will never 
have a painted mast again, because it must come from the 
manufacturer (not in business any longer). 
I believe it must be baked, etc. 
I will send this along to him (he is boat mechanic) but he 
has been very sorrowful about this loss of a painted mast. 
Sound as though someone made a homemade effort. 
HOWEVER, a recycled boat of only a few years old is a very nice 
thing to own. Congratulations!
