[Rhodes22-list] Barney's water

The collection of water in the cockpit areas along the seat drain runs is
most probably caused by the weight of the galley. There have been numerous
posts about this and drilling holes in the forward portion of the cockpit
seat drain runs is a dangerous solution as Ed points out. The forward edge
of the runs extends over the bulkhead going into the cabin. Thus drilling
holes too far forward dumps the water into the cabin.

We just dealt with it by sponging out the drain runs when we got on board.
As we used the boat a lot it did not cause us any problems to deal with the
sitting water in this way.
