Tom,

IMHO, you could easily push an inflatable with 2-3 hp,
at a considerable weight savings.

I have an old Sears Gamefisher 3.5 hp air-cooled
2-stroke that weighs 24 lbs.

Briggs and Stratton makes an air-cooled 4-stroke,
also fairly light.

You might want to think small if weight is an issue...
