what about Marlin 12ga pump in the marine version, with tube extinction, 6 inch pvc pipe with endcaps for storage, you have room for
the gun and a few boxes of ammo. You should have room for 9 in the tube, mix of "00" buck shot and "pumpkin ball", get a two point
sling with reload hoops and fill it up. Do not levee a round in the camber(fire hazard, uncamber ammo cooking off is safe). place a
piece of masking tape with the words "loaded" on the slide(in a way that "pumping" it will break it away) and a condom over the
barrel(keeps foreign objects out and can be shot thought). The PVC pipe cut to size and glue on one of the endcaps, the other should
be tight but come off easy(think sand paper), put everything thing in plus a couple anti-desiccants(those little bags you get in
packing), put on the endcap (maybe form in the ends)and seal with a little ducktape with a "flap" to come off easy.

At the end of the session, go to the range, open it up, shot the ammo. clean/oil/replace.

In the US, the shot gun will cause allot less "hassles" than a hand gun, outside the laws are all over the place, great debates.
1)it not wroth the hassle
2)too good firearms get lost in customs.
3)we keep a shitty shotgun on board to declare, otherwise they will rip your boat apart looking for it, they think Americans always
have guns
4)same idea with the "shitty one" but leave the real hardware on the boat(could get you in a third world jail, but seem common.
5)they will be better armed anyhow so you are better off passive.

and it goes on. around me thiers not much need, but in a loony cove down south a woman all by herself, maybe.
