RecreationArea

Gary & I are going backpacking & mountain biking in the Land Between The
Lakes Recreation Area (LBTL). We'll be arriving late on July 7th & leaving
early on July 12th. The plan is to do an overnight backpack loop on the
Fort Henry Trail in the southern end of the LBTL on the 8th & 9th. On the
10th, we're going to do a loop on our mountain bikes using the North/South
Trail & connecting roads in the northern part of the LBTW. Our base camp
for the mountain bike loop will be at the Energy Lake Campground. On the
evening of the 10th, we plan to take the "A Walk Thru Time: The Great
Western Iron Furnace" tour, which starts & ends at the Homeplace. The 11th
is still open. Do any of you Kentucky Lake Rhodies need a couple of
experienced crew for a daysail on Kentucky Lake &/or Barkley Lake on the
11th? Otherwise, we may try to do some horseback riding at the Wrangler's
Campground on the 11th.
