   Saroj,

        If you find that your boom is too long...longer that the mast to
   end of boom dimension which Roger quoted (9'-5"?)...I have a couple of
   masts that I am not using this year.  Both are 9' 3" end to end; if
   counting the goose neck should be the same.

        You are certainly welcome to borrow one if having yours cut down
   means it will keep you off of the water.  I am trying to talk my wife
   into a weekend trip to VA Beach which would take us right down 64 (or
   60).
