[Rhodes22-list] Generator

Well, both you and Rik have expressed the same sentiment ("wish I got the
2000i").

That makes me think of 2 things... (e.g. Thing 1 and Thing 2)

Thing 1: Maybe I should heed the advice and get a eu2000i (this would
probably be the intelligent thing to do, but they are a bit spendy and I'm
not sure I have more than $900 worth of need)

Thing 2: Maybe I should try to take advantage of your mistake and offer to
buy your 1000i from you so you can get a 2000i.

Hmmmm.....

Two thoughts:

1. To reset the breaker on the eu1000i (and probably
the 2000 as well), you have to shut down the generator
and restart it. This is a PITA, probably deliberate
on the part of the design team to avoid chronic
overloading.

2. The larger eu20001 is more appropriate for general
use, as it will also handle power tools and
refrigerators (and perhaps freezers) in case of a
blackout. I wish I'd gotten the larger one, now that
I've come up against the limitations of the 1000.
