Bruce,
the straps shown in one of your reply are probably a more secure way of
fastening the cushions but if you use velcro, it's a lot simpler and
quicker.  Some velcro comes with it's own glue backing, some without and any
household (non waterbase) glue works fine.  Most of mine have held up for 10
years and if they do get detached, it's easy to reglue. Buy Velcro at any
fabric store off a roll and it's LOTS cheaper than at the marine store.

Same thing for screens.  You can buy softer fibreglass screens at any
hardware or Lowe's type store and narrow velcro strips and make your own.
