I'm pretty certain the plastic decking & fence material sold at Lowes & Home
Depot is polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Table 23-21 on pp. 23-52 of the 6th edition of Perry's Chemical Engineer's
Handbook lists the chemical resistance of type 1 PVC (unplasticized) to both
gasoline & ethanol as excellent. Other common engineering thermoplastics
with good chemical resistance to both gasoline & ethanol are: acrylonitrile
butadiene styrene polymer (ABS), polyvinylidene chloride (SARAN),
polyester/glass fiber composite (fiberglass), epoxy/glass fiber composite,
flourocarbons (TEFLON), chlorinated polyether (Penton), and polycarbonate.
Any of these materials except the flourocarbons could be reliably adhesive
bonded.
