	Hi Doug,
I have used the Master slide on lock, it's out of the way and not
really obvious. Here's a link at BoatUS (tax free in Wilmington)

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Outboard Antitheft Measures

As my "almost new" Rhodes 22 (hopefully) will be delivered in the not too
distant future, I am thinking about antitheft measures for the outboard. I
ordered the 9.9 hp Yamaha which is not easy to carry, but it is vulnerable
to theft.

The boat will be in a slip in a marina on the Chesapeake Bay. Stan, with
his typical dry wit, recommends that I get more insurance than the motor is
worth.

Although I can agree with that statement, what would you experienced Rhodies
recommend for security? In the catalogs I see various cables and devices
which lock in place, covering the mounting bolts. Are these devices
compatible with different size outboards?

Fair winds!
