Ed, you are probably right. If I ever get up the courage to retire, we may 
just do that. As it is I've used up most of my vacation days sailing (as it 
should be) and water temp on the Chesapeake is at 55 and declining. We 
could probably eke out a few more weekends but then we might be retrieving 
the boat and packing her away in the cold and damp.

All in all it wasn't a bad season. We spent 42 nights on the boat and 
logged 359.3 miles (probably a few we didn't log). There are 60 pages in 
the log book representing 18 more days we were on the boat but didn't stay 
over. We sailed to Baltimore for an Orioles game, visited most of our 
favorite anchorages did a nine day cruise and generally hung out in one of 
the most beautiful spots on the planet (shsh...don't tell anyone).

Sunday was beautiful here. Spent part of the morning showing her off to 
some potential Rhodies. And while it did seem sad to be packing things 
away, after spending almost every weekend away from home since mid-April, 
it's kind of nice to spend some time at home.
