Rose,
Stan is really a better person to ask about price ranges for different era
Rhodes.  I found that price versus year is less meaningful for Rhodes 22s
due to the wide range of options/equipment and condition of the boats.
Stan sees many more boats than anyone on this list, and he is very
straightforward about their values.  He will be the first to tell you that
a recycled Rhodes will cost more than a used Rhodes of the same year, but
they are different animals.  Your best course of action is to tell Stan how
much you want to spend and what options are important to you.  Talking a
little about how you will use the boat might also help Stan steer you in
the right direction.  If you want to go it alone, you can also watch the
internet for used Rhodes and contact the seller directly, but be prepared
for a long search unless you are flexible on year, features, and location.

If it sounds like I am making Stan sound like a guru, he is.  From what I
have read and experienced directly, Stan differs from any other boat
salesperson in that he doesn't take the customer down the path of greatest
profitability for his company.  Rather he takes them down the path to the
right boat package for that customer.  I know it may sound sappy, but its
true.  You kind of feel like you've been adopted into a family when you buy
one of these boats.

Bill,

I am just starting the process of getting a recycled Rhodes22.  Saw a new
one
at the Annapolis Boat show where Stan took my dad and I for a demo.   It
sailed like a dream and I wanted to buy one immediately.  Ok, the truth, I
wanted
to buy it before I even sailed it.....(love at first site).    Now I have
the
Rhodes fever and there is no vaccine available.   If you don't mind me
asking.
 What price range did you pay for your 2000 Rhodes?
