I am a conservative.

I want the best for me, my family and my entire country and all its
people.

I assume all Americans , the liberals, etc,  also want the same general
outcome.

It is just that they are wrong and we are correct in our methods.

Some ideas I can prove are correct, some ideas I FEEL are correct.
Sometimes I change my mind. Sometimes you have yell loudly before I
listen.

That is the process.

As hard as may be for you to believe, there are many people who have
been accused of being liberal who have a deep regard for the future
safety and well-being of this country. It seems to me that you are
jumping to conclusions. The term "knee-jerk liberal"  used be used to
describe someone who adopted liberal point of view without thinking much
about it. Sadly, it appears that there are now just as many knee-jerk
conservatives. As long as this country is divided into camps calling
each other names, we will be neither safe nor well off.
