[Rhodes22-list] Boat Values

Carol,

Go to www.yachtworld.com and do a search for similar boats - keep in mind
that these are broker "asking prices" and most boats actually sell for
10-15% less.

If you know a surveyor, many of them subscribe to a yachtworld.com service
that provides the amount for which similar boats have sold. This is probably
the most useful information if you can get it.

You can also go to
http://www.nadaguides.com/MarineHome.aspx?LI=1-10-0-2001-3-104-26531&wSec=14
&wPr=0&wPg=2004& and look up the "blue book" value. These are retail prices.

Hope this helps,

Mark Kaynor

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Boat Values

I have a friend who has a sailboat (I haven't found out what kind of boat it
is yet) to sell and wants to know where the best place is to get an estimate
of it's value. Any suggestions?

Carol
