[Rhodes22-list] Looking for a used R22, southeast US

Ed,

Thanks. We have just gotten into sailing and stumbled across information about General Boats and Rhodes22. We actually live in the Raleigh, NC area, and have already been to see Moses at the mountaintop. We liked what we saw, after spending an afternoon talking with Stan and looking around the shop. Sadly, weather was incompatible with a live demonstration.

Anyway, we are not looking for the cheapest boat we can find, we would like to find one that is in pretty good shape without having gone through the refurbishment process. At the same time, we want to find the most we can for the least possible money, like everyone else. Since we are newbies, we don't know which are the most important features to look for and are open to input, but we also want to be sure we like sailing enough (could there be any doubt?) to invest money in it.

We are enjoying reading the posts. If Mt. Guy Rum is widely available, I can sure get one!

Cheryl
