Actually, the collection is a motley one.
I have several books, some 1st editions. I inherited them from my step-mom
who died last May at age 97. She either inherited them from her parents
(hence the dates beginning in the 1860's) or purchased them herself.
Waverly novels from 1907 forward, philosophy, O. Henry from 1910 forward,
Alcoholics Anonymous including original pamphlets, NC history and genealogy
in the early 1900's, art history and art drawing (she took classes at
Columbia (NY) in mid 1900's), classical mythology, Christian religion
treatise (1920's), the whole collection (1st editions) by Inglis Fletcher,
several about FDR (printed during his years in office), most titles by
Arthur Train, ...
I am sending the complete list as an attachment.
Please feel free to send it to your brother-in-law.

I have a brother -in-law who is into old books, I'll give him a call
tomorrow and see what he says.Are they on any certain topic?Any thing more
you could tell me about them that might help him decide? Feel free to go
