Peter,
	With you knowledge of sails, Perf's and sudden interest in Stan's
innovation, why not get in you truck and go to Edenton, you are less than
two hours away.  Maybe you could even cajole him into a sail on that expanse
of water a quarter mile down the road.

Do you have any pictures of your battened IMF?  How much of a roach does it
allow you to carry?  Do you think it could take another vertical batten
about 3/4 of the way up the leech?
